What is SCWO?

The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) is a non-profit organisation that advocates for the rights and well-being of women in Singapore. Founded in 1980, SCWO is a coalition of over 100 women’s organisations and groups, representing over 1 million women in Singapore.

SCWO’s Mission and Vision

SCWO’s mission is to “promote the well-being and advancement of women in Singapore.” Its vision is to “create a society where women are empowered to reach their full potential.”

SCWO’s Activities

SCWO carries out a wide range of activities to achieve its mission and vision, including:
